Justin Trudeau – Prime Minister of Canada was stuck in India as there were technical issues in the aircraft which was to take him back to his nation after G20 Summit. It has been two days that G20 Summit of 2023 is over but he had to stay in India because of issues. Finally, the technical issues were resolved and he has left the host nation for the Summit. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, a minister for India, said he was at the airport to express gratitude to Mr. Trudeau “for his presence at the G20 summit” and to wish him and his entourage a safe flight home.
What was the issue with the aircraft?
Following a heated encounter with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the G20 conference, Mr. Trudeau was scheduled to depart on Sunday. But due to a problem with his jet, he was forced to remain for an additional two days. Earlier in the day, the press secretary of Canadian Prime Minister Mohammad Hussain told an Indian news agency that “the technical issue with the plane has been resolved. The plane has been cleared to fly”.
The Canadian Department of National Defence acknowledged on Monday that the prime minister’s aircraft, an RCAF CC-150 Polaris with the tail number “01,” had a “maintenance problem” caused by a “component that will have to be replaced.”

Replacement aircraft of Justin Trudeau did not enter Delhi after G20 Summit
“The safety of all passengers is critical to the RCAF and pre-flight safety checks are a regular part of all our flight protocols,” the statement added. “The discovery of this issue is evidence that these protocols are effective.”
A replacement aircraft, according to the defense department, is being sent to India to pick up Mr. Trudeau. According to reports in India on Tuesday, the flight was redirected to the UK; however, it was not made clear if this was because the aircraft in Delhi had previously undergone repairs.
Trudeau has some past with planes
It’s not the first time Mr. Trudeau has experienced problems while traveling by plane. In 2019, the wing of a jet rented to take him on the campaign trail crashed with a plane carrying journalists. He wasn’t traveling in the plane at the time.
