Big Blow To Nikki Haley’s 2024 Presidential Bid, Biggest Investor Cuts Off Fundings

The only remaining rival to Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, will suffer a setback when funding for her presidential campaign is halted by Americans for Prosperity Action, which is supported by Charles Koch.

Since the fall, AFP a conservative super political action committee has spent a million dollars on advertisement. The advertising efforts were done to help Haley fuel her bid for the Republic nomination and reach voters.

Emily Seidel, a senior advisor for AFPAction said, “Given the challenges in the primary states ahead, we don’t believe any outside group can make a material difference to widen her path to victory.”

She added “And so while we will continue to endorse her, we will focus our resources where we can make a difference. And that’s the US Senate and House.”

In South California, Haley suffered a 20-percentage point loss to Trump, after this haleys funding for the Republican nomination was cut short. When more than a dozen states cast ballots on Super Tuesday, March 5, Haley vowed to remain in the race. However, with Trump predicted to secure enough delegates by mid-March, she has almost no chance of winning the nomination.

According to Federal Election Commission records, Americans for Prosperity Action has spent over $32 million in support of Haley since endorsing her in late November. The majority of this money has gone towards digital advertising and canvassing.

Olivia Perez-Cubas, said in a statement on Sunday, “AFP is a great organization and ally in the fight for freedom and conservative government. We thank them for their tremendous help in this race.”

“Our fight continues, and with more than $1 million coming in from grassroots conservatives in just the last 24 hours, we have plenty of fuel to keep going. We have a country to save,” she added.
