Another mass shooting in Los Angeles
At least three people were killed and four others injured on Saturday in a mass shooting in Beverly Crest in Los Angeles, said the police official.
Beverly Crest is approx 2 miles north of Beverly Hills.
This marks the fourth mass shooting in California this month. The shooting comes just a week after 11 people were killed in a mass shooting at a dance hall in Monterey Park. Three days after that, a gunman killed seven people at two farms around Half Moon Bay.
According to the law enforcement officer, three people were killed inside a vehicle on the street and four were wounded outside, in the Benedict Canyon area.
The four injured victims have been taken to the local hospitals and reported to be in critical condition, the police said.
Speaking to the media, the Los Angeles Police Department said, “Calls about a multi-victim shooting in the 2700 block of Ellison Drive came in around 2:30 am.”
Further, the police said that the three deceased victims included two men and one woman, who police say was in a vehicle parked in front of the home where the party was.
Sergeant Bruce Borihanh said, “This was not an active shooter situation.” No information was given about the shooter, but Borihanh said police are working on identifying the “suspects.”
