After Princess Diana, Now Kate! Royal House Performs This Strange Tradition Prior To Marriage, Report

According to a report, the book claims that Princess Diana faced the same medical examinations before her wedding to Prince Charles in 1981

Princess Diana

Prince William & Kate Middleton

In a lavish wedding, Prince William wed Kate Middleton in 2011. The protocol featured certain exceptional requirements because the prince had married a non-royal woman. A test of whether the future queen could bear children was apparently among them.  The surprising revelation was made in a recent book, ‘Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family’, by author Tom Quinn, according to Hello Magazine. Quinn disclosed interesting details regarding the royal marriage.

About the bizarre tradition, the author states: “They are always performed to guarantee that a future queen is capable of having children. If Kate had not been fertile, there is little doubt the marriage would have been off.”

According to a report, the book claims that Princess Diana faced the same medical examinations before her wedding to Prince Charles in 1981

“In a brief interaction with the current author, Diana claimed that she had in all innocence thought her premarital check-ups had to do with general health, only realizing later on that she had actually been tested for fertility.   ” I basically went along with everything at that point because I was so innocent, she said.”
