Video Of Ola Delivery Agent Eating Customer’s Food Goes Viral, Sparks Internet Outrage

The incident sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with many users sharing similar experiences.

A Noida-based entrepreneur, Aman Birendra Jaiswal, was taken aback when he ordered a meal from Ola Foods and discovered the delivery partner eating his food. Jaiswal shared a video on social media, capturing the moment he caught the delivery driver red-handed, indulging in his fries.

Jaiswal recounted that the Ola Foods delivery driver initially called him, demanding an extra ₹10 for delivering the food. Although Jaiswal was hesitant at first, he eventually agreed to pay the additional amount, which was above the standard delivery charge imposed by Ola Foods. Despite this agreement, the driver kept him waiting for 45 minutes.

When Jaiswal finally located the driver, he found him sitting on his parked motorcycle, eating the customer’s food. The driver’s audacious attitude was even more shocking than the act itself. Upon being confronted, the driver nonchalantly responded, “Haan toh karte raho jo karna hai” (Do what you will). When reprimanded, he again replied indifferently with, “Kya karun?” (What can I do?).

Jaiswal expressed his frustration on Instagram, tagging Ola and explaining the ordeal: “Ola, this is how your food delivery partners are doing their job. First, he said I’ll take an extra ₹10 for coming; after initially denying, I agreed, and then he kept me waiting for almost 45 minutes. When I found him, this is what he said.”

Despite the viral nature of the video and the growing public outrage, Ola has yet to address Jaiswal’s complaint.

The incident sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with many users sharing similar experiences. One user commented, “Same thing happened yesterday with me. I tried ordering from Ola Foods, placed the order, and got the contact of the delivery guy. The delivery guy didn’t move at all and didn’t answer my call. Eventually, I received a refund, saying the order was canceled.”

Another user shared their frustration, stating, “This has happened so many times with me on Swiggy too. The delivery partner doesn’t take calls, and it takes hours for the food to be delivered. It’s very frustrating.”

A third user added, “This only happens with Ola. I have experienced this twice without even sharing the OTP, the order gets marked delivered. Also, COD is not available on Ola for food deliveries.”

As the video continues to circulate, the demand for better accountability and customer service in food delivery services intensifies.
