The Delhi Police once again showcased their mastery of social media by posting an inventive road safety tip on Twitter. The police department posted a photo on the microblogging website on Monday to remind people of several fundamental driving laws and the penalties for breaking them.
The image displays an image from the most recent web series, “Guns & Gulaabs.” The actor Gulshan Devaiah, who portrayed Atmaram in the series, is shown in the photo riding his bike without a helmet.
“Unlike you, Atmaram has seven lives. Don’t forget to bike safely and appropriately! Always use a helmet when cycling, the police department advised in a message it shared.
Twitter users responded quickly to the message from the Delhi Police. They appeared to be amused by the cops’ comedy.
A user who left a comment on the post said, “That’s creative and on-trend.”
A different user said, Lol, this is nicely played.”
The third user said, “Smart marketing.”
The Delhi Police, meanwhile, is renowned for its humorous and smart social media posts. A video was previously posted on social media by the Delhi Police to inform people about the dangers of “reckless driving.” To raise awareness of the dangers of irresponsible driving, the Delhi Police created an attention-grabbing video.
