Stargazers are just lovers of stars who want to keep gazing at them as a Bollywood hero looks at heroines in the movies. While looking at the sky, if those gazers get a look of one of the nine planets of the solar system! How about it? Well, recently a Reddit user shared a video on the internet that showed Saturn, clearly visible from Delhi. The user went by the name ‘Anime-kungfu’. The video actually left the internet awestruck.

The video

The short clip shows a pitch-black sky, Saturn moving, and its recognizable rings circling the planet. We read about the planet and how special it was with those rings as pupils in all of our textbooks. This video merely serves as evidence.

The user claimed that the video was taken around 1:30 in the morning with an iPhone 14 Pro mounted on a GSO 12-inch Dobsonian. “Hi guys, We were blessed with relatively clear skies last night so decided to give astrophotography a go. Here’s a video of Saturn,” he captioned the photo.

The most striking fact of all is that it was visible from Delhi, which means that the Delhi skies were clear. It is a really rare chance itself. The national capital of India is highly polluted apart from being highly populated.  Watching the planet from there was an experience in itself. This, however, is hard to believe, a fact indeed.

Another person wrote, “Wow. I think I read somewhere 27/28 August 2023 is expected to be the best sighting date as the planet would be closest to Earth. And thank you for sharing this. Amazing!”
