Netflix is introducing its game collection to new devices to increase access to it. The streaming platform is currently testing its game on new platforms, including TVs, PCs, Macs, and the web, whereas the library was previously only available on iOS and Android.
Trials began in the UK and Canada
In the UK and Canada, the public trial officially began today. Only a few subscribers will be given invitations to take part. The tests will initially be accessible on TV, but they will eventually be made available on supported browsers through Netflix.com on PCs and Macs as well.
Amazon Fire TV streaming media players, Chromecast with Google TV, LG TVs, NVIDIA Shield TV, Roku devices and TVs, Samsung smart TVs, and Walmart ONN are all examples of TVs that are currently supported. In the upcoming days, Netflix promises to extend compatibility for more devices.

Two free games available

New app introduced
Additionally, Netflix formally unveiled a brand-new controller app for TV gameplay. This announcement follows the recent release of an iPhone gaming controller app that made testing seem possible.
Simply use your smartphone as a controller to play games on TV. The controller is accessible in the Netflix app for Android users. The controller app must be downloaded separately for iOS users. A mouse and keyboard will be used to play games when accessed online.
