In response to a trending tweet that claimed one of Zomato’s delivery staff volunteered to bring cannabis to a customer, Mumbai police have taken action. In a since-deleted tweet, X user Sakshi Jain posted a snapshot of the message describing how a Zomato delivery person asked her buddy whether she wanted “secret ganja.”
Mumbai Police responded to the tweet by writing, “Ma’am, we really need what he’s got. The Mumbai Police is renowned for its clever and amusing anti-drug messages. For his kindness, we’d be delighted to contact your roommate’s delivery partner! Please DM; we can get there in 10 minutes as well.

Around 2:30 a.m., the roommate of the X user placed a Subway order and received an odd text from the delivery person. In addition to her order, he asked the customer whether she needed anything else.
“So my roommate had ordered from @zomato last night, and this is what the delivery guy texted her,” Sakshi Jain wrote along with the photo. I am on my way to deliver your order, the message that she had attached in a screenshot said. Aap ko kuch chahiye. Secret marijuana, etc.
