Taking to her Instagram handle to share the news, Ms Satish expressed her gratitude, stating, “Happy to share the news that by God’s grace, I have set a new Guinness World Record by singing in 140 languages in 9 hours, on Nov 24th, 2023, during my concert for climate. Thank you all for your wishes and support.”
The Guinness World Records page confirms that Ms Satish broke the record by performing in 140 languages at the Indian Consulate Auditorium in Dubai. The performance aimed to raise awareness about climate change, with the number 140 chosen to symbolize the 140 nations that attended the COP 28 summit in Dubai.
