Sultan Al Neyadi, an astronaut from the UAE on a six-month mission to the International Space Station, posted a fascinating video on X about his quick snack of honey and bread.
Space fans are entranced by Mr. Neyadi’s demonstration of how honey forms in space in the video. First, he pours a generous amount of Emirati honey onto a slice of bread from a bottle. The honey forms a ball after adhering to the piece of bread. He then abandons his snack to float in thin air while jiggling the honey on the bread. After folding the bread, he enjoys his sandwich with honey.
In the video, he goes into more detail about the advantages of ingesting honey, claiming that it is excellent for astronauts’ health.
Have you ever wondered how honey forms in space? is how he titled the piece. I occasionally eat some Emirati honey that is still in my possession. Honey has various advantages, notably for astronauts’ health.
A viewer’s response to the video was, “It is amazing how it takes the shape of a ball while there is no gravity,” another person commented. An additional person said, “What I’m seeing is that in space I can just leave my stuff anywhere, and it’s cool.”
”Eating in space would take me forever,” a third said in jest. I would only be fiddling with my meals.
A fourth remarked, “Gravity affects how objects move in space, and the tendril-like behavior gives it the appearance of being alive. So incredible.” ”Woah! That’s fascinating,” a fifth person said.
An earlier video of him having a sweet conversation with his son over video chat surfaced. He was asked by his son, Abdulla Sultan Al Niyadi, what he enjoyed most about Earth. Mr. Al Neyadi stated to his kid, “You are the thing that I love most about Earth.”
The Emirati astronaut also posts breathtaking images of Earth seen from space, which are frequently shared online.
