Social media users were astonished to see a video of a huge iceberg moving toward Newfoundland, Canada. The brief video posted on Twitter shows the entire length and breadth of the enormous frozen structure as it approaches Canada’s east coast. The coastal communities appear to be in danger of being destroyed by a massive wave. It has received over 80,000 likes and over 10 million views since being posted.

Although it was taken last month, the video is currently popular. Emoinu Oinam, who initially shared the video on TikTok, identified it as having been shot in Conche, Newfoundland. Additionally, his Instagram account uploaded the now-viral footage.

“Have you ever wondered what it’s like to roam Conche? Join me as I take a stroll and discover an iceberg,” he wrote on Instagram. Mr. Oinam added that 149 people lived in the town in 2021.
According to National Geographic, the icebergs that are drifting eastward towards the shore of Newfoundland are often glacier debris from Greenland that has broken off.

To give viewers a complete view of the frozen structure, Mr. Oinam shared other films of the iceberg, one of which featured a drone shot.

It should be noted that “Iceberg Alley” is a region along the east coast of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, and it appears that the size of these icebergs has been growing recently.
The TikTok video received over 6 million views and was widely disseminated on social media. The iceberg’s breathtaking beauty enthralled viewers, but several also voiced worries about its possible danger.
