Deepinder Goyal, CEO of Zomato, celebrated Friendship Day in the most spectacular way. His fans on microblogging service X (formerly Twitter) were surprised when they discovered what Goyal was doing on this unique day. On his journey to hand out friendship bracelets and food to delivery partners, restaurant partners, and consumers, the Zomato CEO posted images of himself on social media.
In one of the pictures he posted, Deepinder Goyal can be seen riding a Royal Enfield motorbike, ready to celebrate this day of friendship with those who are somewhat related to the business. He held several friendship bands in his palm, which he wanted to give to the delivery personnel, clients, and even fellow restaurant employees.
His amazing gesture has impressed the internet. “Zomato orders over Swiggy today where people are hoping to meet the CEO,” a user commented.
“You’re delivering in Chandigarh? Another user wished to “find you as my delivery partner someday!”
The first Sunday in August is Friendship Day in India. As a result, it is being observed this year on Sunday, August 6. Along with India, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and the United States all observe Friendship Day on the same day.
