Blue Dart Renames Service To ‘Bharat Dart’ Amidst India vs. Bharat Controversy

Blue Dart, the logistics company, has taken a significant step by rebranding its premium service in India from “Dart Plus” to “Bharat Dart.” This decision is seen as part of Blue Dart’s commitment to serving the diverse needs of Bharat, as stated in their official company filing.

The rebranding decision was based on extensive research and discovery processes. Blue Dart Express Limited has invited all stakeholders to join them on this transformative journey as they continue to connect Bharat to the world and vice versa.

Blue Dart’s Managing Director, Balfour Manuel, expressed excitement about this transformation as they aim to serve every corner of the country.

This announcement follows the recent controversy surrounding the use of “Bharat” instead of “India,” sparked by President Droupadi Murmu’s invitation to G20 leaders. There is speculation that the upcoming special session of Parliament, starting on September 18, may formalize the push to rename India as Bharat.
