Yes, you read it right. And this mobile is launched by Ambani’s Jio. Jio has come up with mobile handset and associated tariff plans. This comes as an effort to provide all sections of society with 4G phone that has internet service at the most affordable price.
Jio Bharat – the 4G Phone
This is the name of the mobile – Jio Bharat. The simplest-looking handset comes with a whole set of features like online payment with UPI. This will also allow access to Jio’s own on-demand video and music streaming services, JioCinema and JioSaavn.
The business said that in addition to producing the Jio Bharat, it would collaborate with other phone manufacturers to use the Jio Bharat Platform to create the phones. Karbonn, a company with its headquarters in Delhi, has joined the platform, according to a statement from the Mukesh Ambani-led company.

The mobile for digital revolution 2.0
Jio brought a digital revolution to India when it entered as a telecom service provider. It provided free-of-cost internet and brought a digital revolution to India. Since then, India has started using high-speed internet and developed a lot because of this. The transformation was from 1GB data usage per month to 1GB Data usage per day. Now with this mobile, the company is aiming at the one’s who cannot afford those high-end smartphones for 4G access to the internet. This will provide them not only mobile at a cheaper price but also the charges for Data plans will be cheaper. Jio Bharat will be available at the price of Rs.1000 or $12.2.
Jio Platform unveiled a new monthly plan that costs just 123 Indian rupees, or $1.5 that offers 14GB of data usage for the month and unlimited voice calls. For those subscribing for the year, the plan costs 1,234 Indian rupees, or $15. Reliance said it will start offering the Jio Bharat to consumers starting July 7 as part of a “beta trial.” It said the trial is put in place to “ensure scalability” of the platform and processes for upgrading “millions of feature phone users.”
