Landslide Claims Twelve Lives In Pakistan

Twelve people died when a landslide struck a house in Pakistan’s Upper Dir district on Friday morning, according to rescue teams. The victims, including three women, six children, and three men, were all members of the same family and were asleep inside the house when the disaster occurred.

The state-run rescue organization reported that the area has been experiencing heavy monsoon rains over the past few days, which likely contributed to the landslide.
