Water Conservation technique shared by Anand Mahindra
The Mahindra Group chairman, Anand Mahindra, started a social media discussion about water conservation by posting a video that shows off a clever method for reusing air conditioner water.
Mr. Mahindra, who is well-known for having an active social media presence, emphasized how crucial it is that this strategy be widely used throughout India.
“This needs to become standard equipment throughout India wherever people use A/Cs. Water is wealth. It needs to be stored safely. Spread the word,” he wrote in his post on X.
In the video, a woman demonstrates a creative way to save and reuse the water her air conditioner produces. She installs a tap at the end of a pipe that she connects to the air conditioner so she can use the collected water for various household chores like cleaning, gardening, and flushing. The person in the video emphasizes how important it is to conserve water and exhorts viewers to adopt similar strategies.
