The India Meteorological Department has indicated that Delhi-NCR may experience partly cloudy weather on Tuesday, along with light rainfall and isolated thunderstorms.

Forecasters have also warned of brisk surface winds, with speeds expected to range between 40 and 50 kmph. In some areas, wind gusts could briefly rise to around 60 kmph.

Weather officials estimate that daytime temperatures will remain between 37°C and 39°C, while night-time temperatures are likely to stay within the 26°C to 28°C range.

The anticipated weather pattern is expected to offer periodic respite from the intense summer conditions experienced across the region.

Many parts of Delhi-NCR witnessed showers on Monday, bringing a welcome break from the spell of heat and humidity.

Strong winds and dust storms accompanied the rainfall in several locations.

The changing conditions prompted weather authorities to issue advisories as gusty winds moved through different parts of the capital.

Meteorologists have linked the recent weather activity to a western disturbance affecting north-western India.

The system has contributed to lower temperatures and increased cloud cover across the region.

Forecasts suggest that scattered light-to-moderate rainfall may continue over the coming days.

Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, and western Uttar Pradesh are all expected to experience intermittent rainfall until 19 June.

Experts believe precipitation levels will gradually decline as the weather system moves eastward, resulting in less intense rainfall than that recorded earlier this week.

Delhi’s air quality remained within the ‘moderate’ category on Monday despite fluctuating weather conditions.

Monitoring stations across the city reported AQI readings that largely stayed in the moderate range.

Environmental experts noted that continuing rainfall and improved wind circulation could help prevent any significant deterioration in air quality over the next few days.
