Apple has launched a new unified platform, Apple Business, aimed at helping organisations manage devices, streamline operations, and connect with customers more effectively.
The platform integrates several existing Apple business tools into a single system, allowing companies to manage employee devices, deploy applications, and maintain secure operations from one interface.
A key feature is built-in mobile device management, which enables centralised control of devices, security settings, and applications.
With tools such as Blueprints, businesses can preconfigure devices and enable zero-touch deployment, ensuring employees can start work immediately.
The platform also supports managed accounts, secure separation of personal and work data, and integration with services like Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID.
Apple Business includes communication tools such as email, calendar, and directory services that businesses can customise using their own domain. It also allows organisations to create user groups, assign roles, distribute apps via the App Store, and manage large-scale deployments through an admin interface.
To enhance customer engagement, the platform expands business visibility across services like Maps, Mail, Wallet, and Siri.
Businesses will be able to place local advertisements on Maps, designed with a privacy-first approach to protect user data.
The platform also centralises brand management, enabling companies to control how they appear across Apple services, including logos, business details, and interactive listings.
Apple Business will roll out from April 14 across more than 200 countries and regions as a free service, with additional paid features available.
