Brij Bhushan Singh launched a sharp critique of wrestler Vinesh Phogat on Saturday, a day after Phogat and fellow wrestler Bajrang Punia.

Delhi Police stated that security personnel were temporarily reassigned for routine training and practice, refuting any malicious intent.

Delhi Police officials have indicated that after completing the investigation, chargesheets are being filed against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and Vinod Tomar before the Rouse Avenue Court for offences under relevant sections of the IPC.

Brij Bhushan, a six-time MP and a significant figure in the region, has also been involved in various educational initiatives, operating around 50 private educational centers in his constituency.

Punia informed reporters that Gandhi talked about the daily activities of the wrestlers at the akhara and interacted with them.

Notably, the United World Wrestling, the sport's highest authority, threatened to suspend WFI if the elections were postponed.

Six weight categories, including the classes of Bajrang (65 kg) and Vinesh (53 kg), will have trials in all three formats. Winners in those two categories, however, will be listed as reserves.

The complainant, Singh, a young wrestler, her father, and other witnesses are all mentioned in the police's 552-page cancellation report that was submitted to the court.
