Bajrang Punia had a meeting with Amit Shah on last Saturday. He had earlier clarified that the grapplers have no “setting” with Union Minister and the protest will continue further.

The Delhi Police said it will not allow the wrestlers back into the protest site. 

The wrestlers, who have been sitting in protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, have demanded the arrest of Singh who, they alleged, sexually harassed several women grapplers

"Today we have decided to go to Connaught Place and speak to the people there and seek their support in or fight for justice," says Vinesh.

Police said that no permission has been granted to the protesters to stage a dharna at Jantar Mantar. They also clarified that Jantar Mantar can not be made a permanent site for a protest which is why cots were not allowed there.

Drunk policeman Dharemendra abused Vinesh Phogat and got involved in a scuffle with us."

The wrestlers, including a minor, had filed a police complaint on April 21, but no FIR has been registered, the panel said.
