The Delhi High Court on Thursday directed the female complainants who have accused former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh of sexual harassment and intimidation to file their responses to his plea seeking the quashing of the FIR and related criminal proceedings.

Another prosecution witness, a victim, did not appear due to medical reasons. The court has summoned her to record her statement on August 23

Punia informed reporters that Gandhi talked about the daily activities of the wrestlers at the akhara and interacted with them.

"Whatever has to be done with regards to wrestling in India, it has to be done by the newly elected body," Brij Bhushan told.

According to the report of Delhi Police, the video proof that as provided by the complainant shows that no offence of hate speech was made by the grapplers.
