A new petition filed in the Supreme Court seeks urgent action to address the high rate of fatalities from venomous snakebites across India.

Supreme Court on Friday granted relief to lawyer Mahmood Pracha by staying the ₹1 lakh fine imposed on him by the Allahabad High Court.
