The World Health Organization has warned that hypertension affects more than 294 million people across Southeast Asia, with India accounting for over 220 million cases.

Saima Wazed, Regional Director for WHO South-East Asia, said that hand hygiene is not a luxury but the cornerstone of safe healthcare.

This summit in Delhi marks the first official trip of Sheikh Hasina's daughter alongside her, signifying the close relationship between neighboring countries India and Bangladesh.
