On arriving to Austria for 2 days visit after attending India-Russia Annual Summit in Moscow Prime Minister Narendra Modi was Welcomed by Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer in personal capacity for a private engagement.

Reflecting on the deep ties between India and Russia, PM Modi pointed out that his visit to Russia is being closely watched worldwide.

Experts note that the India-Russia relationship has deep roots, which Prime Minister Modi has strengthened since his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat.
