Nifty resistance

Nifty and Sensex recorded their seventh consecutive weekly losses as crude prices, rising US bond yields and FII selling pressured Indian equities.

Sensex gained 291 points, and Nifty closed above 24,100 on Monday, supported by buying in IT and pharma stocks and softer crude oil prices.

Indian stock market benchmarks Sensex and Nifty opened flat on Tuesday as investors awaited fresh market triggers.

India's stock markets opened lower on Thursday, with Sensex & Nifty in decline due to selling pressure in IT & auto sectors.
