From 21.15 US billion dollars on December 7, 2018, India's Gold reserves has surged to 65.76 billion dollars. as of October 4. The data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) revealed the growth.

The Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) fined 23 companies a total of 1.55 crore for the violations. Fines levied by the market authority range from one lakh to ten lakh rupees.
