During a pre-event press conference held at SKICC, the Chief Coordinator of the G20 event, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, highlighted the extensive preparations that have taken place in Srinagar.

The way G20 was organized in other places, the same way it will be organised in J&K as the mainstream activity," Singh remarked.

Appreciating the efforts of the state administration, Shringla said, "I want to convey a very, very grateful thanks to the efforts the administration has put up here.

Srinagar is being developed as a world-class city and its makeover will not only preserve the city's cultural heritage but also boost its economy, he said.

Meanwhile J&K first international cricket Star Parveez Rasool also started a coaching and training cricket camp in district Anantnag where players from other districts of South Kashmir including Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama are also part of the camp.
