S Somanath recently opened up about being diagnosed with cancer on the day of Aditya-L1's launch.

According to Somanath, the agency would gain insight into its readiness for different types of hardware through unmanned missions.

Since its September 2 launch last year, the spacecraft has successfully completed four earthbound maneuvers and one Trans-Lagrangean Point 1 Insertion (TL1I) maneuver.

The passengers respond with enthusiasm, breaking into applause and swiveling in their seats to catch a glimpse of the esteemed scientist.

The Union Minister also stated that it was India's moon mission series that found evidence of water on the Moon. He said, “I am glad to share that 24 hours from now, India will launch its historic Chandrayaan-3."

The Chandrayaan-3 mission features scientific equipment to investigate the elemental composition, surface plasma environment, and lunar seismicity's thermo-physical characteristics.
