Gurpatwant Singh Pannun

Pannun, recognized as a leader of the banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has been designated a terrorist by India.

On January 26, Pannun called on criminals to come together and attack the chief minister of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

There has been an increase in security in and around Parliament, according to a senior police officer.

In a video clip that surfaced on November 4, Pannun can be heard saying, “We are asking all Sikhs to avoid boarding Air India flights on November 19..."

The relations between India and Canada have strained since Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused agents of the Indian government of killing Nijjar

Pannun added that there will be a "reaction" and that "India and PM Modi will be responsible for it" if India continues to "occupy" Punjab.

They seized his property in Chandigarh and confiscated land in Amritsar. Pannun faces numerous criminal cases, including sedition charges, in Punjab.
