Rahul Gandhi lost his seat as a member of parliament for Kerala's Wayanad on March 24 following his conviction in the case.

The Delhi High Court summoned the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) on Monday in a defamation complaint, alleging that its two-part documentary titled 'India: The Modi Question' slandered India, her judiciary, and the Prime Minister himself.

"This is the victory of the common people of India and the backward classes. This is also a huge victory for the judiciary," the BJP spokesperson said
