On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a top-level meeting to discuss the region's security situation following the spate of terrorist incidents. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other senior officials attended the meeting.

With Ajit Doval P.K. Mishra To Continue Tenure. In a second major announcement on Thursday, the Prime Minister has extended the tenure of P.K. Mishra. 

Doval highlighted the ongoing threat posed by various terror groups in the SCO region, including those recognized by the UN Security Council.

India has provided supplies of necessities in an effort to help the Palestinian community in Gaza by supporting humanitarian relief efforts.

Over the past three years, this tension has remained, and India has repeatedly emphasised that until there is peace in the border region, the bilateral relationship cannot resume its previous level of normalcy.

NSA emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to fully resolve the situation and restore peace and tranquility in the border areas, so as to remove impediments to normalcy in bilateral relations.

NSA of India in his address even praised India for its welcoming nature. He said, “India welcomed Arab exiles (in the court of Raja Dahir of Sindh), Jews, Tibetans, Parsis, Shias, Bangladeshis, Afghans and many others with open arms."

Mohammad bin Abdulkarim al-Issa, the secretary general of the Muslim World League, complimented the Indian Muslim community for their sense of national pride and said that the country’s diversity is a fantastic example of how to live in harmony with one another.

The two countries have also established a strategic trade dialogue that, Doval said, will serve as a platform to address regulatory barriers and issues related to export control.
