Despite the batter hitting a six, it was the ball boy’s diving catch that earned admiration from spectators, including New Zealand star Colin Munro, who embraced the child in appreciation.
The remarkable incident occurred when Zalmi’s Amer Jamal struck a delivery from Islamabad pacer Faheem Ashraf for a maximum. Although the ball-boy had previously dropped a catch earlier in the same match, he seized the opportunity this time around. Despite the ball skirting the boundary rope, witnessing a fielder celebrating a six alongside the ball boy provided a heartwarming moment for everyone present.

Despite the captivating display, Islamabad United emerged victorious, restricting Peshawar Zalmi to 167/9 after posting a formidable total of 196/4. Shadab Khan was recognized as the player of the match for his exceptional performance.
