Some criticize Mitchell Marsh for putting his feet up on the World Cup trophy

Australian skipper Pat Cummins shared multiple photos on his Instagram stories after his country’s thrilling victory over India in the World Cup. But one specific picture of Mitchell Marsh caused indignation all over the Internet. Marsh is seen in the photo putting his feet up on the World Cup trophy, which many people found to be “disrespectful.”

Marsh is pictured leaning back on a couch with his feet propped up on the trophy that is on the ground. In addition, he is seen posing for pictures with a medal around his neck.
