On Monday, Indian southpaw Pant shared a previously unreleased video of Iyer and Rahul engaging in a warm-up bout prior to the continental competition. India, the all-time champion, has not yet revealed its lineup for the 2018 Asia Cup. The 2023 Asia Cup, which will be co-hosted by past winners Sri Lanka and Pakistan, will begin on August 30 in Multan with a match between Babar Azam’s Pakistan and Nepal.

Pant recovers more quickly than anticipated

Pant, who survived a horrible automobile accident last year and is undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, may miss the rest of the 2023 campaign. Pant missed the whole Indian Premier League (IPL) season due to various injuries sustained in a serious vehicle accident. The former Delhi Capitals (DC) captain, 24, sustained two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, and abrasion wounds on his back. Pant, however, is apparently recuperating more quickly than anticipated.
