Taking a huge risk
Virat Kohli in different sport ahead of ICC world cup which is knocking in the door. He will be franchising his own team for the E1 Series – World’s First All-Electric Raceboat Championship to be held in early 2024 in Jeddah.

He has named his team as Blue rising. E1 Series is been recognised by Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), the world governing body of powerboating. In this championship, the pilots will fly above the water’s surface behind the wheel of the RaceBird using innovative hydrofoil technology.
Norwegian designer Sophi Horne has designed the boat which was polished further by naval architect and marine engineer Brunello Acampora. Alejandro Agag is the pioneer of electric motorsport.
In the inaugural E1 series, the places to be covered are Jeddah, Middle East, Venice, Europe, Monaco and Rotterdam,
With the all important ICC World cup coming up shortly and Virat Kohli is struggling to get back to his peak form, who, incidentally, happens to be the mainstay of Indian batting this sudden change of focus might hamper his batting further. If it happens then Kohli will have only himself to blame.
