KKR Set 193-Run Target For RCB After Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s Match-Winning Knock

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) posted a formidable total of 192/4 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 57th match of IPL 2026 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.

The contest began late due to rain, although no overs were lost. After winning the toss, RCB opted to field first.

KKR made a brisk start, with Finn Allen and captain Ajinkya Rahane putting together 23 runs for the opening wicket. Allen struck 18 off just 8 balls before his dismissal.

Rahane then combined with Angkrish Raghuvanshi to add 25 runs in quick time, taking the score to 48. Rahane contributed 19 runs, including four boundaries.

Following Rahane’s departure, Angkrish Raghuvanshi assumed control of the innings. He stitched a crucial 68-run partnership with Cameron Green for the third wicket, guiding KKR to 116.

Green played a steady knock of 32 from 24 balls before being dismissed.

Angkrish continued his fine form alongside Rinku Singh, as the duo added 76 runs for the fourth wicket. Their partnership ensured KKR finished strongly at 192/4.

Angkrish’s innings of 71 off 46 balls included seven fours and three sixes, while Rinku remained unbeaten on 49 from 29 deliveries.

For RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood and Rasikh Salam Dar claimed one wicket each.
