Young shooter Khushi has clinched the bronze medal in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions (3P) event at the ongoing International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Championship.
This achievement has propelled India’s medal tally to 15, comprising 10 gold, one silver, and four bronze medals, reinforcing the nation’s dominance in the standings.

Despite facing a setback on her 41st shot with a score of 9.1, Khushi rebounded strongly, delivering a stellar 10.7 on her 42nd shot and a solid 10.4 on her 43rd, securing her well-deserved bronze medal.
In the team competition for junior women’s 3P, the Indian trio of Sakshi Padekar, Melvina Joel Gladson, and Prachi Gaekwad finished fifth with a cumulative score of 1757.
Anoushka Thakur also scored 585 in the qualification round but placed 11th due to 26 hits in the inner-10 ring. Sakshi, Melvina, and Prachi ranked 24th, 32nd, and 41st, respectively.
