IPL 2026: Sai Sudharsan’s Century Powers GT To 205/3 Against RCB In IPL 2026 Clash. He struck a brilliant 100 off 58 balls to guide Gujarat Titans to a commanding 205/3 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 34th match of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday.
Despite a cautious start against swing from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and tight lines from Josh Hazlewood, Sudharsan soon found his rhythm. He accelerated with calculated strokeplay, dominating the Power-play as Gujarat Titans reached 57/0, while Shubman Gill played a supporting role early on.
The left-hander maintained a brisk scoring rate, dispatching bowlers across the ground and reaching his half-century in 33 balls. His innings featured inventive strokes, including scoops, uppercuts, and slog-sweeps.
During his knock, Sudharsan also completed 2000 IPL runs in just 47 innings, becoming the fastest to the milestone, surpassing Chris Gayle, with Shaun Marsh, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and KL Rahul trailing behind.
Gill contributed 32 before falling to Suyash Sharma, who struck with a googly. Jos Buttler, playing his 500th T20 match, added a quick 17 off nine balls.
Hazlewood eventually dismissed Sudharsan with a return catch, halting Gujarat’s momentum in the death overs. Washington Sundar chipped in with late boundaries, while Jason Holder provided the finishing flourish, smashing two sixes and a boundary in the final over.
RCB’s bowlers managed to regain some control towards the end, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma picking up one wicket each.
The closing stages also saw interruptions, including Suyash briefly leaving the field for medical attention and Rasikh Salam walking off with cramps.
