Despite attempting to rectify the error, Mallika Sagar stood firm, asserting that the auction process had concluded for Shashank Singh as well. The Punjab Kings, who did not originally intend to add Shashank to their roster, found themselves in a peculiar situation, compelled to include the unwanted player in their squad.
