In the boys’ team event, India faced a tough challenge against England in the match for fifth place. The contest went down to the wire, with England emerging victorious 2-1. The results were:
- Shaurya Bawa triumphed over Yusuf Sheikh with scores of 3-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-7.
- Yuvraj Wadhwani fell to Bailey Malik in a close match, ending 11-5, 9-11, 8-11, 14-16.
- Ayaan Vazilalli lost to Dylan Roberts, with scores of 11-6, 9-11, 9-11, 7-11.
In the girls’ team event, India clinched seventh place with a 2-1 victory over New Zealand. The results were:
- Shameena Riaz was defeated by Ella Lash with scores of 7-11, 12-10, 13-11, 4-11, 4-11.
- Nirupama Dubey secured a win against Anabel Gemmell, 9-11, 11-6, 11-4, 8-11, 11-9.
- Unnati Tripathi emerged victorious over Ella Hill, with scores of 11-4, 11-3, 11-6.
The strong performances of the Indian teams highlighted their competitive spirit and resilience throughout the tournament.
