While Australia is being captained by Steve Smith in the match. Australia also made two changes to the side that lost the second Test by six wickets in New Delhi, bringing in pace-bowling stalwart Mitchell Starc and Cameron Green in place of Pat Cummins and David Warner, who have both returned home.

Third Test Match–Shubman Gill in place of KL Rahul

The main selection headache that India skipper Rohit Sharma has in this match is if he drafts Shubman Gill into the first XI or if he keeps giving chances to former vice-captain KL Rahul, who has had a rather underwhelming series thus far. There have been calls of leaving him out of the playing XI but only time will tell if that happens or not. The second test in Delhi

Team India and Australia will head into the third Test of the four-match series at Holkar Stadium in Indore. Both sides relished a nine-day rest after the second Test in Delhi, where India won by six wickets to get a 2-0 lead in the series and retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as well. Day 1’s play in the Indore Test will begin today(March 01).
