Harvinder Singh’s journey to this historic victory is both inspiring and remarkable.
Hailing from Ajit Nagar village in Haryana’s Kaithal district, Singh faced significant challenges early in life.
At just one and a half years old, he suffered complications from dengue fever and the resulting treatment led to a loss of function in his legs.
Despite this setback, Singh found a new passion in archery after being inspired by the London Paralympics in 2012.
Singh’s triumph is a testament to his resilience and dedication, overcoming personal and physical hurdles to achieve excellence in his sport.
His success not only adds a prestigious gold medal to India’s Paralympic history but also serves as a beacon of inspiration for athletes around the world.
