Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated the Gujarat Giants in the match number 16 at Mumbai.
GG vs RCB: Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat faced off against each other in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 on March 18 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. RCB dominated this game by 8 wickets and kept alive their expectations of going to the end of the season games. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Sophie Devine scored 99 runs in a brilliant inning, but she missed her century by one run.

I was at ease today. I didn’t care if I got out for 99 because I had to win the match for the team as soon as possible. Sophie added that we might still be able to make the playoffs.

The Mumbai Indians hold the lead in the points table with ten points. With 8 and 6 points, the Delhi Capitals and UP Warriorz are in second and third place, respectively. With four points each, RCB and GG are the teams at the bottom of the points table.

Fixtures for RCB and GG
The Royal Challengers Bangalore have one remaining game, which they will play on March 21 against the Mumbai Indians. On the other hand, GG still has one match left, which they will play on March 20 against the UP Warriors.
It will be interesting to see whether the team at the bottom of the points table, GG, or RCB, will have any chance to qualify for the playoffs. However, this totally depends on the first three teams at the points table.
