Ishaan Kishan and Jaiswal will play for the first test against WI
Ishan Kishan and Yashasvi Jaiswal are reportedly scheduled to play their first Test matches. Ishan participated in the WTC final but was defeated by KS Bharat because he is a specialist wicketkeeper. On the other hand, Jaiswal is best suited to bat at No. 3 and must step into Cheteshwar Pujara’s enormous shoes. In addition to making a few unexpected announcements of his own, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh disclosed his choice for India’s XI on the eve of the first Test. While Harbhajan’s top order is clear, the Indian veteran did bring up a sobering fact concerning Jaiswal’s spot in the XI.
What Harbhajan Singh has to say on the India line-up against WI
Yashasvi Jaiswal should play at No. 3, and Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill should start, in my opinion. Many people believed that Shubman should be downgraded in order to allow Yashasvi to open; however, since Shubman has transformed the space into his own, I disagree. Gill was appointed to that position as a result of his performance. No one should interfere with his position, therefore. At No. 3, I shall perform Yashasvi. I wish him luck as he makes his debut and runs abundantly. He plays the game really well. Then, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane would bat at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, he announced on his YouTube account.

Bharat should also be included in the first test
Harbhajan supported Bharat over Ishan to be India’s wicketkeeper despite his problems in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the WTC final. There is no denying Bharat’s ability to maintain scores, but in the five Tests he has played, his batting has been far from impressive. Bharat has been labeled a “walking wicketkeeper” because of his 129 runs, a best of 44, and weakness to strong spin and blistering speed. While Ishan has not yet been tested in tests, that is anticipated to change tomorrow. Even though Shardul Thakur was supposed to be Mohammed Siraj’s pace bowling partner, Harbhajan still chose to bowl with two of the three new arrivals.
