Minister of Chemical and Fertilizers Mansukh Mandaviya said that government has achieved the production of over 285 lakh metric tonne of urea and currently only 200 metric tonne is being imported from other countries which includes China. He made the remarks while responding to a question of Congress MP Syed Naseer Hussain after he raised the issue of import of urea and fertilizers from China.

MoS for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary in Rajya Sabha said that around 54.68 crore Permanent Account Numbers, PAN, has been linked with Aadhaar till June, 2023. He said, no PAN is deactivated for the reason of non-linking with Aadhaar. PAN is made only inoperative if it is not linked with Aadhaar. He said over 2 crore people have paid Rs 1,000 for linking Aadhaar with PAN during period from 1st July 2022 to 30th of November. Minister said Rs 2,125 crore have been collected from these people.
