Bengaluru: The Federation of Karnataka Truck Owners Association announced that they would go on an indefinite strike starting January 17. Their protest is against proposed strict measures for hit-and-run cases under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. C Naveen Reddy, the association’s president, stated, “We are ready to withdraw the strike if both the central and the state governments address our issues”.
