Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed the significance of the upcoming Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, calling it a momentous occasion that follows a 500-year struggle marked by numerous sacrifices. Addressing the ‘Ram Rajya Shobha Yatra’ organized by the Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Utsav Committee at the Parade Ground, Dhami emphasized the blessings of witnessing the realization of the vision for a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Reflecting on the sacrifices made by thousands of saints, Ram devotees, and believers in Sanatan, the chief minister declared that the historic moment is about to unfold. He credited the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the accomplishment.

Dhami highlighted the special connection between Lord Ram and Devbhoomi, noting that the Saryu River, where Ayodhya Dham is situated, originates in Uttarakhand. He announced that his entire cabinet would visit the Ram temple after the consecration ceremony.

Furthermore, Dhami revealed plans for the construction of Uttarakhand Sadan near the Ayodhya temple for the devotees of Lord Ram from the hill state. The Uttar Pradesh government has allocated three acres of land for this purpose.

The ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya is scheduled for January 22, with Prime Minister Modi in attendance, along with various VVIPs, seers, and sadhus from across the country. This event marks the culmination of a long-awaited aspiration and symbolizes the unity of devotees in celebrating the grandeur of the Ram temple.
