Covid-19 Nasal Vaccine Dose : The Omicron BF.7 has now finding its ways in india  and it is said to be highly transmissible . This new variant is creating huge  havoc  in china with lakhs of covid cases in a day . Other countries, including Japan, Argentina, South Korea, and the United States, are seeing a rapid increase in Covid-19 cases. As a result of the virus’s global spread, the Indian government has announced strict precautionary measures and advised citizens to receive all vaccine shots, including the booster dose.

Besides that , the Indian Government has also shows the green light to the usage of nasal vaccine . Bharat Biotech’s intranasal Covid Vaccine  has been approved by the Union Health Ministry . It will first be available in private hospitals for Rs 800 excluding GST as a heterologous booster.

Who Is Eligible For The Covid-19 Nasal Vaccine?

The central government has approved Bharat Biotech’s iNCOVACC intranasal vaccine for people aged 18 and up. It can be given as a precaution to adults who have already taken two doses of Covaxin or Covishield.

Where Can I Get The Booster Dose ?

The needle-free vaccine is available in private hospitals, and appointments for nasal vaccines can be made through the CoWIN platform. From December 23, 2022, people can book appointments for Covid nasal booster doses online through the CoWIN website and app.

The Cost Of A Nasal Vaccine In India

In private hospitals, the iNCOVACC nasal vaccine will cost Rs 800, excluding the 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST). “The nasal vaccine has been approved by the Indian government. It will first be available in private hospitals as a heterologous booster. It will be included in the Covid vaccination programme,” according to official sources.

How To Reserve A Covid Nasal Vaccine Online

Bharat Biotech- iNCOVACC nasal vaccine is available in private hospitals. People are advised, however, to make appointments for the vaccine before going directly to hospitals. Here’s how to book an appointment for the Covid nasal vaccine online, step by step.

Steps

1. Visit the COWIN official website cowin.gov.in/

2.  Get registered with your mobile number.

3. Verify your account

4. Once logged in, go to your vaccine status page and select the available booster dose. Notably, a second dose of the Covid vaccine is required first. Then you’ll only be able to get a booster shot. A booster dose of Covid vaccine can also be given after 9 months of receiving the first two doses.

 5.  find your nearest vaccination centre through Pincode

 6.   Choose the centre as per your convience

 7.  Now , select the perfect date and time to get your booster vaccine

8.  Confirm your time slot. Download and save a vaccination certificate for future use after receiving a booster dose.
