The Supreme Court of India has rejected the petition filed by Amarmani Tripathi and his wife, Madhu Mani, who are serving life sentences for their involvement in the murder of poetess Madhumita Shukla.

On February 10, 2023, the Supreme Court ordered the release of Amarmani Tripathi.

Subsequently, he filed a contempt petition, claiming that the order was delayed.

In response, the court directed the release of Madhu Mani Tripathi on July 3, 2023, and Amarmani Tripathi on August 18, 2023.

As the legal battle continues, Nidhi Shukla remains determine to challenge the convict couple’s early release, questioning the judicial process and the conditions under which such decisions made.
